Attention Cessna Owners: SEB07-5R1 and MEB07-1R1 provide a modification for installing a new design secondary seat stop, for the pilot and copilot seats. The secondary seat stop is designed to assist in providing an additional margin of safety by limiting the aft travel of the seat in the event the primary latch pin is not properly engaged in the seat rail/track. In certain instances, seat slippage could result in some pilots not being able to reach all the controls and/or subsequently losing control of the airplane. Compliance is mandatory for the pilot seat: the secondary seat stop installation shall be accomplished within the next 400 hours of operation or 24 months, whichever occurs first. This service bulletin can be accomplished at no cost to you provided that this service bulletin is completed and a Warranty Claim submitted prior to December 17, 2009. Please note that the credit program is for the installation of the Pilot secondary seat stop (SK337-75, SK195-11 and SK210-174A). Installation of the copilot secondary seat stop kit (SK337-76, SK195-12 and SK210-175) is not covered under the terms of the credit program.
