Attention Cessna Owners: Optional service bulletin SB07-34-01 provides configuration upgrade and enabling instructions for the optional Garmin G1000 ChartView that is powered by Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. ChartView has the ability to provide worldwide and regionalized electronic Jeppesen charts that depict the airplane position on a chart shown on the Multi-Function Display. ChartView requires an initial one-time unlock card and the sustaining database service is available on an annual subscription basis. Jeppesen currently updates the ChartView database every 14 days which can be obtained via the internet. This is an optional upgrade and as such, is not covered under warranty. You are responsible for all costs, including the unlock card, labor for the unlock procedure, and database update subscription. Payment for the unlock card must be recieved at the time of order. You must also set up an account with Jeppesen and purchase your database update subscription prior to the unlock procedure being performed. Access to your accound and your update subscription is required for the unlock procedure.
