These service bulletins are covered under warranty IF accomplished by an Authorized Cessna Service Center before July 29, 2006.

Reason:
To provide a software upgrade for the Garmin G1000 System that includes the following changes:

  • Enhancements to the GMA 1347 soft muting functionality
  • Adds airplane model specific data updates to the data files
  • Adds Line Replacable Unit (LRU) serial numbers to the AUX page on the Multi Function Display (MFD)
  • Addresses dual bearing pointers in reference to Garmin Cockpit Reference Guide (CRG) 190-00384-03 or later revision.
  • Enhancements ot the Airspeed and Altitude Trend Vector and Digital Heading and Course Value Displays
  • Adds Obstacle Database functionality to utilize a part number 010-00330-41 or later revision Terrain Database Card.
  • Enhancements to Flight Plan Mapping on Terrain and Stormscope MAP pages
  • Enhancements to assist in reducing nuisance LOW VOLTS annunciater/tone
  • Adds GDL-69A Weather Data Link support, GDL-69A must be installed for functionality
  • Adds Electronic Pilot's Checklist functionality
